Mead Wildlife Area

The George W. Mead WMA is nestled in the valley of the Little Eau Pleine River, this wildlife area contains over 33,000 acres of wetlands, forests and grasslands. It was presented to the citizens of Wisconsin to be used for wildlife conservation for all time. Mead’s diverse habitats harbor an abundance of wildlife.
